The RAM-7 is a great and powerful weapon that can fire fast and is actually really accurate, the only downside is that it has a ton of recoil making it hard to control.
The M4A1 is a more popular choice because it has lower recoil than the RAM-7. With the proper attachments the RAM-7 can be a very deadly and powerful weapon.
Best Attachments
The best attachments for the RAM 7 in Warzone are the 50 Round Mag extension, the Tactical Foregrip and a scope of the players choice. We recommend the Integral Hybrid scope for picking off enemies from range.
You can also add the FSS Ranger barrel to really boost the weapons damage range. Combine this with the monolithic suppressor for maximum damage range. Check out the loadouts below.
Best Loadouts
The Medium Range Beast
The RAM-7 really shines in medium range fights. It’s a good damage dealer at range so this loadout will focus on its strengths while trying to tone down the recoil.
The Monolithic Suppressor is a very popular muzzle for almost any gun in the game, it provides great sound suppression and increases your range.
For added damage range, bullet velocity, and some much needed recoil control, take the FSS Ranger. The Integral Hybrid will help you get more accurate shots at close or medium range.
Attach the Tactical Foregrip to increase your balance stability and balance things out. Lastly, take the 50 Round Mags for more firepower.
As for your perks, take E.O.D., Overkill, and Battle Hardened. E.O.D. is always a great perk to take considering how great explosives and grenades are in the game right now.
Overkill helps you balance your build out so that you are not vulnerable at long or short ranges, you can pretty much partner the RAM-7 up with an SMG or a sniper depending on your playstyle.
Battle Hardened will help you not get caught out with flashes or stuns, but you can also swap it out for Tracker if you like hunting down your enemies.
The M4A1 Killer
The M4A1 is one of the most used assault rifles in the game because it is easy to use and is an overall great damage dealer at almost any range.
This loadout aims to make the RAM-7 as good, if not better than the M4A1.
The attachments you need to take are the Compensator, FORGE TAC Eclipse, Commando Foregrip, Stippled Grip Tape, and the XRK Close Quarters.
The Compensator really helps you a lot with recoil control at the expense of some ADS and aiming stability but we can balance things out with other attachments.
The FORGE TAC Eclipse gives you more damage range and bullet velocity that really helps you battle at range. The Commando Foregrip gives you better recoil and aiming stability at the expense of some movement speed.
Both the XRK Close Quarters and the Stippled Grip Tape gives you better ADS plus a faster sprint to fire speed from the Stippled Grip Tape.
These attachments make the RAM-7 relatively easy to handle and can destroy enemies at range.
I recommend taking Cold-Blooded so that enemies have a harder time tracking you and finding you.
Overkill will help you take another primary weapon as your secondary which will help you find a comfortable and overall pretty balanced loadout.
This RAM-7 build is pretty good at most ranges so you can also drop Overkill for Ghost, to get the always reliable Ghost and Cold-Blooded combo.
Finally, take the Tracker perk to help you track and hunt your enemies down.
