Stoner 63 Best Attachments & Class Setups Black Ops Cold War

Share It With Your Buddies

The Stoner 63 is a fully automatic Light Machine Gun in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. It is described as having the best accuracy in its class. This is certainly true. The Stoner 63 is the middle ground between the three LMGs in the game. It doesn’t beat the RPD on movement speed but wins on accuracy and shots to kill.

As with all LMGs, the downfalls of the Stoner 63 are its slow ADS time and reload speeds. We will look into correcting these attributes in the attachments section below.

The guide then provides the best class setups to use when running the Stoner 63.

Weapon background

The Stoner 63 is a Black Ops 1 classic. In Black Ops 1 it features as a classified weapon where players must buy all the Light Machine Guns to unlock it.

Stats

  • Damage: 42
  • Rate of Fire: 722 RPM
  • Recoil: Low vertical recoil

Best Attachments

The best attachments for the Stoner 63 in Black Ops Cold War are Fast Mags, Serpent Wrap, and Wire Stock. Fast Mags Speeds up the weapons reload times by 25%. Serpent Wrap cuts ADS times by 25% and finally, the Wire Stock shaves 15% off Sprint to Fire Time. These attachments are to speed up the overall usability of the weapon.

We would also recommend an optic on the Stoner 63. Even though the Iron Sights are quite good. An optic will give you that added accuracy when picking enemies off from a distance.
