ISO Best Attachments & Class Setups Modern Warfare

This guide goes through the ISO Best Attachments & Class Setups in Modern Warfare. We also provide three class setups to dominate the opponent.

The ISO submachine gun is Season 5’s addition to Modern Warfare. The weapon is built for close-range combat. It has a fast fire rate and moderate recoil. The weapon’s biggest flaw is its low ammo capacity which we will talk about later in the guide.

Weapon background

The ISO submachine is based on the APC9 SMG in real life. It is a fast-firing low damage smg. We’ve never seen this weapon variant in a past Call of Duty.

Stats

  • Damage: Head: 36-23, Chest: 25-16, Limbs: 22-14
  • Rate of Fire: 875 RPM
  • Recoil: Moderate(vertical)

Based on the stats above we can see that the ISO is a 4 shot to kill weapon if all shots land in the chest. The weapon will deal 36 damage to the head up close which means it will kill in 3 shots up close. Shots to limbs will take 5 or more rounds to kill. The weapon has a decent fire rate. It is similar to the MP5 but a little slower.

Best Attachments

The best attachments for the ISO in Modern Warfare are the:

  • 30 Round Mags/ 60 Round Drum Mags
  • FSS Revolution Barrel
  • FTAC Elite ISO Grip

The weapon’s biggest weak point is its low ammo capacity. So whack on a bigger mag and you’re good to go. The FSS Revo barrel adds well-needed range as well as other perks. Finally, the FTAC Elite ISO Grip adds even more ADS and Sprint to Fire speeds.

Best Class Setups

Below are the three best class setups for the ISO submachine gun in Modern Warfare.

Class 1 – Objective Slayer

This class is perfect for players who like to stay in and around the objective. Load the ISO with the following attachments:

  • FSS Revolution
  • G.I. Mini Reflex
  • Commando Foregrip
  • 30 Round Mags
  • FTAC Elite ISO Grip

Class Setup

The rest of this class takes into consideration protection measures. Especially against frags and stuns.

  • Secondary: .357 handgun
  • Perk 1: E.O.D.
  • Perk 2: Ghost
  • Perk 3: Battle Hardened
  • Lethal: C4
  • Tactical: Stun

The E.O.D., Ghost, and Battle Hardened combination is very effective when playing the objective. You’ll be able to survive for longer when you’re not getting insta-killed by enemy player C4’s and nades.

Class 2 – Stealthy

This Stealthy class is great for getting around the map and countering long-range enemies such as snipers and LMG users. Add the following attachments:

  • FSS Nightshade
  • Tac Laser
  • ISO Collapsible
  • 30 Round Mags
  • FTAC Elite ISO Grip

Class Setup

The remainder of the class setup is best for keeping off enemy recon systems.

  • Secondary: Renetti
  • Perk 1: Cold-Blooded
  • Perk 2: Ghost
  • Perk 3: Tracker
  • Lethal: Frag
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

Cold Blooded, Ghost, and Tracker keep you stealthy and enable you to get around enemies that may be camping in a lane. Pop your smoke grenade and run for it.

Class 3 – ISO Run and Gun

The final class is best for running and gunning and staying aggressive. It also works really well if you like to play the OBJ. Kit the ISO out with the following attachments:

  • FSS Revolution
  • FTAC Vagrant
  • Tactical Foregrip
  • 30 Round Mags
  • FTAC Elite ISO Grip

Class Setup

The remainder of the class setup is built for speed and aggression.

  • Secondary: 1911
  • Perk 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Pointman
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal: C4
  • Tactical: Flash Grenade

The 1911 is a powerful and reliable secondary to whip out if you run out of ammo. Double Time will keep you on your toes for longer. Pointman is great when you’re capping flags and gaming the OBJ. Finally, Amped lets you pull out the pistol even faster in a sticky situation.
