HDR Best Class Setups & Best Attachments Modern Warfare

This guide goes in-depth into the HDR Best Class Setups & Best Attachments and looks at weapon stats such as damage, range, and rate of fire.

The HDR is the best sniper rifle for all-round combat. It works great in close range as well as long-range engagements.

However, if you’re looking for a quickscoping sniper rifle. You need to check out our guide on the AX-50. That’s the sniper you need for 360 no scoping.

Without further ado, let’s get into the HDR Best Class Setups & Best Attachments.

Weapon background

Yet another Bolt Action sniper rifle in Call of Duty. The HDR is unique to Call of Duty Modern Warfare. The weapon was apparently made by a campaign character Hadir Karim.

Stats

  • Damage: 1 shot kill at 100m to the torso and 55m to the forearms.
  • Rate of Fire: Bolt action
  • Recoil: Low(1 shot per rechamber)
  • Range: 100m – 55m

We can see from the information above that the HDR can kill in 1 shot from 100 meters provided the player hits the torso area. If a bullet hits the forearm area, the weapon will kill in 1 shot from 55 meters.

Best Attachments

The best attachments for the HDR in Modern Warfare are the:

  • 26.9” HDR Pro Barrel
  • FTAC Champion Stock
  • Scope of the player’s choice

The HDR should be used for slower-paced long-range gameplay because this is where the weapon excels. However, if you want to speed up the weapons ADS. You could attach the Tac Laser with the disadvantage of giving away your position.
