The Jag D-Type first debuted Forza with the release of Motorsport 3. It since made a reappearance in Motorsport 4, 5, 6, and 7. It’s been in every Horizon game.
You can unlock the Jag D Type in Horizon 5 by purchasing it from the Autoshow for a whopping 22,000,000 CR. You can also get it from doing the Sold Out completion reward, in a wheelspin, or the Auction House.
Vehicle History
The Jaguar D Type is a sports car that was manufactured by Jaguar Cars Ltd between 1954 and 1957. It was the successor to the Jaguar C-Type, and was replaced by the Jaguar E-Type. The D Type was a successful racing car, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans three times.
The D Type was based on the XK120 road car, but with a much shorter wheelbase. The car’s body was made of lightweight aluminum alloy, and it had a dry-sump engine.
